Baron ... What a wonderful introduction to Vizslas. Baron was handsome, intelligent and loving. He was also my introduction to obedience work and his “swing it” finish would give me goosebumps. Baron was a great companion for 2 growing boys. He never tired of chasing balls or sticks and slept in the boys’ room at night. The one thing you could not do with Baron around was lay quietly on the beach as he would get behind your lounge chair and start to dig, sending a rooster tail of sand flying into the air. The boys also had a hard time playing on their inner tubes in the lake because Baron would get worried and swim out to them. Our old dog, Moe, taught Baron how to chase fish and they were quite a sight together on the dock watching for fish, jumping in the lake and occasionally catching a really slow fish.
